Neighborhood Cleanups
Our bi-weekly cleanup campaigns mobilize community volunteers to remove trash, litter, and illegally dumped waste from public spaces, parks, and underserved residential streets across Las Vegas.
We coordinate with Republic Services for proper disposal of large-haul items and document every event with before-and-after photos and certified scale readings to verify tonnage removed. Our goal of 12+ tons annually is tracked monthly against baseline targets.
Beyond trash removal, we add beautification elements where possible — drought-resistant plantings, repaired benches, and restored green space that gives residents something to take pride in.

Food Drives & Pantry Support
Every month, we partner with Three Square Food Bank and local grocery stores to collect and distribute essential groceries to 150+ families in East Las Vegas — one of the most food-insecure areas in Clark County.
Distribution events are held at accessible community centers with extended hours to accommodate working families. We focus on nutritious staples: fresh produce, protein sources, canned goods, and culturally appropriate foods.
Families pre-register through a digital sign-in system that assigns unique household IDs — allowing us to track real impact, prevent double-counting, and ensure consistent support for the most vulnerable households.
Volunteer
Volunteers help sort donations, pack boxes, and distribute to families. Delivery volunteers also bring groceries to homebound seniors who can't attend in person.
Program Goal
150+ families served monthly · 1,800+ households annually
Service Locations
- ▸East Las Vegas (ZIP 89101, 89104, 89110)
- ▸Bonanza Road & Eastern Avenue corridor
- ▸Community centers with evening and weekend hours
Partners
Three Square Food Bank, Albertsons, Smith's, WinCo Foods
Planned Measurement
Digital sign-in sheets. Unique household IDs preventing duplication. Monthly reconciliation vs. 150-family target. Verification through Three Square's client tracking database.
Urban Garden & Greening
We build and maintain community garden plots in East Las Vegas, turning unused lots and neglected green spaces into productive community assets that provide fresh produce for food-insecure neighbors.
Our gardens grow drought-resistant crops suited to the Nevada climate — reducing water use while maximizing yield. Surplus produce is donated directly to our monthly food drive distributions.
Beyond food production, the greening program installs benches, plants shade trees, and restores native vegetation in neighborhoods where green space is scarce, improving both quality of life and air quality.
Volunteer
No gardening experience needed — we provide full training. Seasonal work parties run on weekend mornings. Great for families and youth groups.
Program Goal
Fresh produce for food-insecure families · Beautification of underserved blocks
Service Locations
- ▸East Las Vegas community plots
- ▸Underserved residential blocks across service areas
Partners
Nevada Cooperative Extension
Planned Measurement
Produce weight tracked per harvest. Square footage of green space created or restored logged quarterly.
Homeless Outreach & Supply Drives
Our outreach team runs weekly routes to 5-7 established encampment locations across Las Vegas, distributing hygiene kits, seasonal supplies, and resource cards to unsheltered individuals.
Each kit includes travel-size soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, feminine hygiene products, wet wipes, clean socks, first aid supplies, and hand warmers in winter. In summer, we add sunscreen and water — critical during 110°+ Las Vegas heat.
Consistent presence at the same locations builds the trust that makes referrals possible. We partner with HELP of Southern Nevada and other social services to connect individuals with shelter, healthcare, and housing assistance.
Volunteer
Outreach volunteers join weekly route teams. Orientation required. We never send volunteers alone — all outreach is done in teams of three or more.
Program Goal
Hygiene kits, warm meals, and case management referrals for unsheltered individuals

- ▸Downtown Las Vegas (Fremont Street area)
- ▸Huntridge Circle Park

Senior Wellness Visits
Social isolation is one of the most serious health risks facing seniors, and it's invisible. Our wellness visit program matches trained volunteers with isolated or homebound seniors for regular check-ins, errand assistance, and companionship.
Volunteers help with grocery runs, prescription pickups, transportation to medical appointments, and light household tasks — removing practical barriers that often force seniors into crisis situations unnecessarily.
In partnership with The Shade Tree, we extend wellness visits to seniors in temporary housing situations, ensuring continuity of care even during the most vulnerable periods.
Volunteer
Volunteers are matched with 1-3 seniors for regular visits. Commitment of at least twice monthly. Background check required. Training and ongoing support provided.
Program Goal
Combating social isolation for homebound seniors across Las Vegas
Service Locations
- ▸Home visits across all service areas
- ▸Senior-serving facilities in East, North, and West Las Vegas

Visit logs per volunteer per month. Senior-reported wellbeing surveys quarterly. Referral tracking to medical and social services.
