Our Mission
We believe every Las Vegas neighborhood deserves to thrive.
Founded in 2019 by a group of Las Vegas residents who saw a city full of untapped community spirit, The Green Initiative set out to do something simple: show up. We started with a single park cleanup and eight volunteers. Today, we're a growing family of thousands, running programs across twelve neighborhoods.
We are volunteer-first in everything we do. Our programs are designed to be accessible, impactful, and rooted in the real needs of our neighbors — from food security and youth development to environmental stewardship and senior wellness. We listen to our community before we act.
Las Vegas is more than its famous Strip. It's working families, dedicated teachers, resilient seniors, and kids who deserve the same opportunities as anyone else. That's who we exist for, and that's who drives every decision we make.

Distributing hygiene kits, clothing, and essentials while connecting unhoused neighbors with shelters and social services throughout the valley.
Senior Wellness Visits
Regular check-ins, errand assistance, and social visits for isolated seniors — because our elders deserve connection, dignity, and care.
